Visiting a café, for me, goes far beyond simply drinking coffee. The architecture and interior design of the space, the conversations and expressions that fill it, and even the scent and texture of the light in the air—these are the elements that make me pause and take notice.
Until now, I have captured the atmosphere of cafés and restaurants through photography, but I now seek to translate these impressions into short video sequences. Clips ranging from three to ten seconds reflect my eye and my taste, delicately recording the details that allow a space to be truly experienced.
Within the unique ambience of each café, I approach my work with a documentary sensibility, capturing not only my own experience in the space but also the expressions of customers enjoying their time there. Ultimately, the defining aura of a place lies in the stories and expressions of the people who inhabit it.
Going forward, I wish to deeply understand the storytelling and aesthetics that this brand pursues, and to create video and photographic work that aligns with that vision while expanding my own style. I aim to visually convey the experiences the brand creates with compelling imagery, while exploring a wide range of creative expressions in the process.
